A draft stormwater management plan to mitigate flood threats to residents in the Brown Hill and Keswick Creek catchment is on schedule to be presented to the community for consultation later this year.
Brown Hill Keswick Creek Stormwater Project Director Michael Salkeld said “Investigations for the draft plan are complete and a draft plan report has been substantially progressed”.
The draft plan report will be considered by the project team this month before it is submitted to each of the five catchment councils, the Cities of Adelaide, Burnside, Mitcham, Unley and West Torrens.
“After the community responses have been considered we intend to present the draft stormwater management plan to the Stormwater Management Authority in March next year,” Mr Salkeld said.
